They are a decent, fun sounding semi-open, portable headphones which are very competitive against similarly priced headphones (HP50's, FSP/FSC, DT xx0, etc...). With the L2's you still get a decent amount of isolation to listen to you music at a moderate volume without being a deaf walking bellend.
